Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 23, 2026
1. Who we are
Mizo Player is a media player application for playlists that you, the user, provide. This policy explains what data the app handles and why. The app does not include, sell, or promote any media content.
2. Data we collect
To activate and license the app, we store a device identifier (a generated device ID, device model, platform and app version) on our servers. If you add a playlist, its connection details (server address, username, password or M3U link) are stored so the app can play your content and sync it between your devices. We do not collect your name, email, contacts, precise location, photos or any other personal files.
3. What we do NOT do
We do not sell or rent any data. We do not show ads. We do not use third-party analytics or tracking SDKs. We do not access content on your device beyond what is needed to play the playlists you add.
4. Where data is stored
Viewing history, favorites and preferences are stored only on your device and never leave it. Device and playlist records are stored on our servers hosted in the European Union, protected by encryption in transit (HTTPS).
5. Data retention and deletion
You can delete any playlist from within the app or from the playlist management page, which removes it from our servers immediately. To delete a device record entirely, contact us with the MAC address shown in the app and we will remove it within 30 days.
6. Children
The app is not directed at children under 13. What is watchable through the app depends entirely on the playlists the user adds; parental supervision is the responsibility of the account holder.
7. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with an updated date.
